About LightKeep
Our vision is to define a better way for organizations to grow: through clear structure and systems that hold over time.
Our story
After two decades working across operations, strategy, and organizational design, Gracelyn Woods founded LightKeep to bring clearer guidance to how organizations grow and change. Across industries, she saw the same pattern repeat. Organizations scaled quickly, systems multiplied, and complexity increased, but the underlying structure was rarely built to support long-term clarity or sustainability.
At its core, LightKeep works alongside organizations to strengthen how their work functions. We respect existing expertise and institutional knowledge, and we build from what is already there. By stepping into real workflows and examining what hinders progress, we help organizations refine operations and create systems that are flexible, durable, and designed to evolve with you.
Our approach favors practical structure over quick fixes. The goal is not to over-process or upend what is already working, but to create clarity, alignment, and values-driven growth that lasts, in service of the people doing the work every day.

Founder
Gracelyn Woods is the founder of LightKeep and an experienced operations and strategy leader with a background spanning organizational design, people systems, and large-scale production.
Prior to founding LightKeep, Gracelyn served as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Owner of Bellweather, where she led internal operations and organizational strategy. In that role, she designed workflows, streamlined systems, and implemented workplace policies that supported wellness, caregiving, and long-term sustainability while guiding the agency through growth. Her work ensured that Bellweather’s creative and civic partnerships were supported by clear structure, strong internal alignment, and thoughtful operational foundations.
Earlier in her career, Gracelyn spent more than 15 years producing and managing complex projects for clients including Oprah, Lady Gaga, and the Sundance Film Festival. That experience sharpened her ability to navigate fast-moving environments, manage competing priorities, and build systems that balance creative ambition with practical execution.
Grounded in her lived experience as a Black woman, a mother, and a community-rooted leader, Gracelyn approaches organizational work as a human system first. She builds structures that promote clarity, accountability, and trust, with the belief that sustainable performance depends on systems that work for the people within them.
Gracelyn lives in Beacon, New York, and remains actively involved in community-based work focused on food justice, intergenerational care, and mutual aid.
What guides us
01
Strong systems create room to do good work.
We begin with a clear understanding of how work actually gets done, focusing on structure, capacity, and flow. When systems are clear and well-built, the people doing the work are better supported by default.
Impact
Stronger execution, reduced burnout, systems teams can rely on
02
Values guide decisions at every level.
We help organizations align operations with their stated goals and values, so strategy, process, and decision-making reinforce one another across teams and leadership.
Impact
Clear priorities, stronger alignment, more confident leadership
03
Built to adapt, endure, and scale.
We design operational systems that hold up under pressure and evolve as organizations grow, with modular, flexible structures that support long-term change without constant rework.
Impact
Operational stability, increased efficiency, readiness for change
04
Clear information supports better decisions.
We prioritize transparency and shared ownership. Teams operate best when information, context, and responsibility are clearly defined and accessible.
Impact
Greater trust, faster decision-making, reduced silos
